Bruce Rosen

Dr Bruce Rosen is an Adjunct Research Scholar at the University of South Australia from which he retired as Senior Lecturer in Educational Computing in 1995. He is currently tutoring in various applications packages at the Workers' Educational Association of South Australia. His major scholarly interests are British Victorian Social History, Educational Theory and the Uses of Computers in Education.

In 1998 he was Visiting Fellow at Jane Franklin Hall, a college of the University of Tasmania where he had the time and opportunity to follow up his long time interest in the Point Puer Boys' Establishment. The results of his work were presented as papers in February 1999 at the Colonial Eye Conference in Hobart, Tasmania and the Australasian Victorian Studies Association Conference in Sydney, New South Wales.  He has been invited back and will once again be a Visiting Fellow in 2001.
